Primary Responsibilities

  • The Skyway36 Site Manager will be responsible for overall facility operations and tenant engagement and will also serve as UAS testing and management liaison for the Skyway36 and Osage Nation Ranch node
  • Includes facility condition evaluation and upkeep coordination. This may include light repair/maintenance
  • As primary Range Safety Officer, responsible for developing and maintaining range safety processes and procedures
  • Learn to operate and provide user maintenance of range communications, sensor, and radar equipment
  • The Site Manager will work closely with partners to develop strategy for the UAS and Advanced Air Mobility regional industry expansion. Some of these partners include Osage LLC, Oklahoma State University’s Unmanned Systems Research Institute, and Tulsa Innovation Labs.
  • The Skyway36 Manager will be involved in the business development planning and expansion associated with the aerospace industrial park and flight test facilities.
  • This position is currently grant funded through April 2027.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Part 107 license
  • Must have a driver’s license
  • Experience leading, managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating UAS test programs or other aerospace related projects is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in airport management or familiarity with airport and airspace operations
  • Demonstrated communication skills to liaise and advocate with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally.
  • Frequent travel within the range area
  • Ability to travel occasionally to conferences and events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
